Gramma can play this game too!!!

I am so excited! I have a blog!! Never thought I would try my hand at this but then one day I thought about it and thought it might be a cool way to keep track of my life "Over the Hill". And yes I must confess, I am "Over the Hill". I have been that way for almost 30 years!!! This year!! Yep my 30th anniversary is on August 24th. 30 years to the same man!! He is a wonderful kind of guy. Serious but sweet. As an example, just yesterday he brought me home a donut, 2 See's Candy suckers and a set of incredible magnets that he paid $11.00 for at the mall!!! So see he is sweet. Right? These magnets are amazing. I have never had a magnet actually hard to get off the fridge! But $11.00??? I will have them forever!! This man has given me so much more than "things" in this life. He is great and I love him so much. Best of all, we are on the same wave length in what we believe.
Life is sure interesting when you get this far into it.I have a wonderful family. My parents are the best I know. They live within a mile of us. I see them often. I have really been blessed to have the best parents on the earth. I also have 2 brothers. Wonderful brothers! And I have a wonderful famliy and it is growing growing growing. I have 4 wonderful adult married children (3 daughters and one son) and one adult step-daughter. I loved having my babies!!!! I look at them as adults now and I just love them so much. More than words can say. Some days I miss them being my little babies because I loved having them so so much. I love being with them now as adults, though. I have to admit I have separation anxiety. I miss them when they aren't around much or if I haven't gotten to see them in a while. I am sure they are too busy with their lives to have time to miss their mom! And that is good. After all, my goal when I was raising my kids was to raise happy and independent adults. And that is what I have. They amaze me. They are all so confident in themselves and I am pretty proud of them.
I also have 8 grandchildren (5 girls and 3 boys) and one step-granddaughter. "If I had known how wonderful grandchildren were, I would have had them first." I have had the blessing to be at all of my grandchildren's births. There is nothing better than to see your grandbabies born. What wonderful days those are. I am planning on having many more!!!!! It is so nice because I don't have to get pregnant and I still reap all the love those little ones give!! They are so precious! My oldest is 15, then I have a 14 year old, 11 year old, 9 year old, 7 year old, 5 year old, almost 4 year old, 20 month old, and 9 month old. See, I have had a lot of fun these last 15 years!!! And more fun is coming this fall!!!!!! Top secret info!!!!! I could go on and on about these wonderful kids! That's what grammas do, right?
I am a hard workin' gramma too. I continue to make my living with my little daycare kids. They are sweet little ones. Truck drivin' lego buildin' snack eatin' little guys! I have mostly boys in my daycare. One little girl. She holds her own!! Most days are fun filled chaos!!! And this Gramma will call this her first blog entry. Okay, I did it!
